I don't know about you guys, but I saw this bag this past week in New York (real ones and fake ones - I love New York for that reason) and I have been thinking about it ever since.
I know I just ranted non stop about the LV Artsy GM being WAY TOO BIG and then I'm about to talk about the Chanel Oversized Classic Flap bag but I'm telling you, this bag, in all its gigantic-ness, looks very, very cool. How do I put this without sounding dazed and confused...the Chanel Oversized Classic Flap is almost like an artistic big. A look at me and my awesomely big bag, big, whereas the LV Artsy GM is just a big bag. Does that make sense?
Here it is on a mannequin but the mannequin does not do the bag justice. It's one of those bags that needs to be seen on a person to appreciate the size and the way it naturally hangs and the general awesomeness of this bag!

If you dig the Classic Flap 2.55 bag but you want something different to stand out from the crowd, this is the bag to get for sure! I know it's big, bordering on MASSIVE, however, again, I'm at a loss how to convey this on paper, the size of the bag makes it. It gives it a flair and presence that speaks Chanel loud and clear.
This bag is as durable as it is large! It has a very thick silver chain that can be one long shoulder strap or can be doubled to again be a shorter shoulder strap or the two straps can be used by hand or on the forearm.
This bag can hold some weight but it's really meant to be an accent piece to your outfit or to your personality. Clearly, this is not a briefcase or to hold A LOT on a regular basis. My laptop does fit nicely in here but bulky items (like my laptop and my wallet) cause the bag to be lumpy and look crappy or just plain sloppy. It's excellent for slim, non rotund items.
