*ducks to avoid rotten tomatoes*
Yes, I am going to post another couple of bags. Look, I said I was sorry. What more do you want? My first born? *mulls over summer vacation around the corner and the kids at home ALL DAY LONG*. Sure, what time can you pick him up?
So Burberry is a dilemma for me. Classic Burberry bags, in my neck of the woods (at retail outlet malls) go for a couple of hundred dollars. You know the ones I'm talking about:
And to me it doesn't make sense to charge $260.00 for these bags since you can get a real one for like $350.00. Right? That's just dumb. So I relayed this to the factory rep and he said the price is a tough one. Because the factory still needs to make the bag and ship it to me. The cost ends up being the same for a bag that retails for say, $4,500.
Once the hate subsides, I will lower the prices on Burberry bags or remove them altogether. It does not make sense to have them on the site for that price. I personally would never buy a replica bag if I could get a real one for about $100 more or so.
But having said that, the first bag:
does not retail for a couple of hundred dollars. That is new Burberry. Classic. Refined and so showy. You know that puppy is Burberry a mile away. I will be updating the Burberry section soon enough. I find it only attracts certain people.
I sell a lot of Burberry but I find people prefer the Burberry scarves, jackets and coats over the bags. I think, and I could be wrong here, but I think that that pattern is just a bit too much for most people. It's either a self conscience thing or it's a "what do I match this with?" thing.
I know I'd feel funny carrying that bag if I were wearing my usual pin striped suit or summery patterned dress. I think the lack of versatility hold the bags back. I also think that if the real bag is somewhat easily attainable, why buy a replica?
Happy Shopping!!
