There is a new bag in town and it's called the Victoria II. It's Hermes and so it usually retails for about 3 gazillion dollars but the replica are decently priced at $300.00. I love this bag for several of my usual reasons. It's mature, sophisticated and it will get you to a boardroom and then out with friends in no time. I love that it is mostly versatile however and that it is for a business setting.
Hermes bags can be as stuffy as you want them to be or as cool as you need them to be.
Posh Beckham, perhaps the most famous of the Hermes Birkin carriers, can be looking like a prim and proper 18th Century school teacher in one set of pictures with her Birkin and then as trendy and as hip as she is known to be in a next set of pics. Hermes handbags dress themselves up based on what you are wearing. If you are wearing a tank with skinny jeans then the bag is casual and fun.
If you are in a business suit then the bag is all serious like and ready for business.
Aside from being well made and being made to last for a long, long time, I love how Hermes offers their bags in like 6 billion colours. Like the Birkin or Kelly sections on the site, the Victoria II comes in about 15 solid colours!
