You Know What?

I don't post enough variety when it comes to bags.  I tend to stick to the LV, Chanel and Balenciaga.  Well, that's gonna change today.  Here is, and now I can say this with some confidence, Dior.  In the past, it's made me very nervous.  The factory that was making really, really good DIOR products went under in late 2008.  Ever since then, we've been seeing a lot of crap.

Well the old factory owner is back and he's back with a vengeance, making high quality products with good raw materials, workmanship and hardware.

Loving this bag.  When I was a little girl about 7or 8 years old, wayyyyyy back in the late 70's I saw a very pretty older girl at the mall, maybe 18-20 years old, with a bag with metal handles.  If you're my age, you might remember those bags.  They were made of fabric and they all had the metal rounded handles.  They were STYLIN' and only very hip, young girls with truly beautiful Farrah Fawcett hair carried them.

I remember this moment in time well because I seriously think that is the exact moment that my bag fetish / partialism developed. I so wanted a bag with those metal handles.  Okay, I admit it, I so wanted the perfect flowing wings of her Farrah Fawcett do as well!! 

You can imagine my psyche goes into giddy mode when I see today's handbag styles awakening memories of the past.

Digression aside, that bag above is STYLIN'!!  Average priced for DIOR replicas at $260USD.

Love, love, love a bag that just goes with everything.  Even if you are carrying this bag, while wearing a flashy gold lamé cat suit (and God bless you if you are ;) you'd have a rockin', stylish handbag.
