LV's current "IT" Bag

Man, I am all over the place with LV, huh?  I really do like their classic (NOT MONOGRAM) styles, but new designers bring in new blood and it's very hit and miss with me.  I love certain shapes, designs, materials and just cannot stand others (umm, slippers anyone?).

The LV Speedy 35 Monogramflage is a new joint venture between Marc Jacobs and Takashi Murakami.  The latter has designed for LV before and they called that line, Murakami!

I like this. I know I would not use it everyday but I do like it.  It is a perfect bag for day time use, going to the park, taking the kids to the amusement parks, having a picnic, going for an urban hike, etc.

I personally find the shape and cut of the Speedy 30 to be too small and favour the Speedy 35.  It is just a tad bigger but it allows for odd shaped things, like your book and wallet, to fit conveniently.

As far as replicas go, I have a great one.  I can be excited about that.  I have the bag here at my house.  It's very well made.  The lines, lettering and canvas match up, something that is very important in any LV Monogram handbag.

The handles will oxidize over time and get darker.  The canvas itself of course is waterproof and durable.
I have had about 33 requests for this bag in the past 48 hours.  Obviously it's brand spanking new.  It's also a very limited edition collaboration between the two designers and so it's a must have item.  Imma thinking it should be the Deal of the Week, non?

Right now the Speedy 35 Monogramflage is on sale for $200USD!!  Get it fast because the sale ends Monday August 23, 2010!

Happy Shopping!!
