Stylin' Prada

While we're on the topic of all things wonderful and Prada, I have a new bag that I got this week in a shipment (not obviously the one being held by customs *biting finger nails nervously*).

Feast your eyes on this beauty:

Right now I know you're thinking Meh.  So what?  Well aside from the fact that this bag is made from the MOST luxurious soft leather you have ever, and I do mean ever, felt, this bag is totally hip and stylin'.

That classic side zipper is SO SO Prada.  They love their zippers and they sure do love them going all the way around a handbag.

This bag might scream Prada Prada too much for some (personally I like it!!).  Here is the fabric version of the handbag with noticeably less Prada on it.

Again, it too has the the fancy dancy zipper.

Just as a note, that zipper does not open into the bag.  As in undoing that zipper will not make all your stuff fall out!  It does however give the bag some extra thickness.  That zipper is like the expandability that you find on all luggage today.  I think that's pretty cool actually.  Zip it up for days you're carrying the bare essentials and undo the zipper for the days that you need a little extra.   Man, some genius comes up with all these bag designs (I know small things impress me!).

Prada Zipper handbag and most other Prada bags are $260USD on the site and include shipping and inspection service to Canada and the US.  Shipping is a little extra elsewhere.

Fairies all around us!

I think Spring has definitely sprung as I'm getting a lot, and I mean A LOT, of requests for the Prada Fairy Bag.  I have always thought this bag was playful and fun...a little too playful and fun for my needs but it sure does have the size I need!

My fear would be that my kids would try to colour the fairies and well, that would ruin the bag for good.  Knowing my kids, they'd use some great colouring agent, like PASTELS, or magic marker (Sharpie at that - no water based stuff for those munchkins!!).

The Fairy bag comes in two major styles (sizes) and some of the newer ones come in funky colours as well.  The one size is above which is W37cm x D12cm x H25cm or this one:

The Fairy bag has been updated quite a bit and it has been diversified into many colours.  I have seen them in blue, green, pink, and even yellow.  It originally just started as the off white shade with one basic style but since then has really grown in popularity.

Since this bag is so incredibly popular right now, I will code it and it will be up for sale by tonight.  All Fairy handbags are $260.00 which includes shipping and inspection service to Canada and the US.  It's a little extra to other locations.  Please do not hesitate to ask.

Hermes Lindy

I have been quietly selling this bag like it's peach pie in October!  This is the Hermes Lindy and it is a very, very well made bag.

Like you will see from the many testimonials on my site about Hermes bag, they are VERY, well made and they are made to last.  So despite their stigma of being completely unattainable in a real life setting for you and me, they are a good bag to have if you want to keep a handbag for a long, long time.  Like Gucci, if you are tight on money, you should buy an Hermes bag.  You seriously won't need to buy another bag until you literally get tired of your Hermes handbag.

Aside from the pink and orange colours that are fantastic for a season, you can invest in the usual camel, brown, black or even blue and keep the bag going all year round.

Personally, while orange is not a bag I'd carry around on a regular basis, I am telling you that the Hermes orange is something else.  It is a sophisticated shade and does not even come close to be cheesy, tacky or too (and I apologize for the condescension here) too YOUNG.  It is truly a colour that you can easily take from the office, to the boardroom, to a client meeting, to dinner, to drinks, and if you're not exhausted after that, to dancing.

This bag has that versatility that absolutely LOVE which is that it is completely a bag that you can dress to the hilt with or dress down wearing ripped jeans and Tory Burch flats.   This bag is also deceivingly large.  Yes, it has an odd shape but think of the bulky things that we're carrying today.  I always have a water bottle, keys, huge Astrid LV wallet, papers, books, and if I can squeeze it in, a laptop, cell phone, and binders.

This bag won't hold a laptop or binders but most of you have told me that you don't hoard everything from your office and your house when you go out.  Most of you have told me that you carry your wallet, sunglasses and keys and THAT'S it!!.

The Hermes Lindy is great.  It's young, without being too youthful.  It's sophisticated without being stuffy.  It's versatile, fresh and completely well made to last a long, long time.

The Hermes Lindy is on sale on my site right now for $230USD and that includes the shipping and the inspection service to Canada and the US.  Shipping for the Lindy incurs an extra cost for shipment overseas.  Please ask me for more details.

And I'm Back!!

Folks, most of you know that I miscarried last week and so I was not in a place, mentally or physically, to update this blog.  Nor was I particularly chatty.  I've had a great week off with my husband who always knows how to put everything into perspective.  That sad news aside, let's move forward with what we do here and that is showcase the LV bag of the week:

Classic bag with a lot of versatility and of course that magnificent LV look.  I love the direction that LV might be taking old Monogram canvas into and this is one of the proposed looks.  It's beautiful!

This bag is a perfect combination between leather and patent leather.  I always find too much patent leather TOO SHINY or too in your face, but when patent leather is used as an accent to leather, it looks so sophisticated and wonderful.

This bag is going on sale in the next hour or so for $220USD and that includes the shipping AND inspection service to most areas!!

Let's do better

I gotta get that butt ugly picture off my blog as the first entry.  It's kinda making me nauseous.  Leave it to Prada to make the MOST beautiful bags on Earth.  Yes, the MOST beautiful.  Sure you can't really use them for lugging your stuff around but the people at Prada don't want you to be lugging stuff around, darling.  They want you to look fabulous, wealthy and full of idle time.

Look at this bag...

My mouth is watering.  Literally I'm in heaven.  That is a gorgeous bag.  Tell me of one, ONE instance where you could not show this puppy off and just look absolutely fantastic?

Not one.  Boardroom:  check.  Dinner party:  check.  Drinks with the girls:  check.  Dinner date with awesome guy:  check.  Dancing the night away: check.  Sunday afternoon lazying around in sweats or torn jeans:  check.

That my friends is called a power bag.  The smell of the leather on this bag is gorgeous.  The leather itself is ridiculously amazing.  The softness is divine.  The feel is luxurious.  OMG!!  That is a bag.

Anna Sui dress people meet Prada.  Prada, devour Anna Sui dress people with your gorgeousness!!  Case closed.

Prada Dream (my name not offiicial) bag $260 on my site.  Right now there is an equally DIVINE special going on.  Buy ANY Prada handbag from the site and get a free Tshirt.  All information is on the website or in this blog!

And the follow up dress to that horrendously ugly bag...

I dare you to wear this dress to work tomorrow:

I double dare you.  In fact, let me know how it goes.  If your HR department doesn't pull you aside to have a chat about work and family, and how you're "doing", maybe you need help "coping", I'll be a son of a gun!

That, my friends, is the UGLIEST dress I have ever seen.   It has friends:

Here's the view from the back...just in case you thought, well maybe it looks really nice from behind:

I usually love Anna Sui.  I don't know if this is a bad day or so trying to be "out there", that it fails miserably.  Seriously, would you pay $600USD for those dresses?

I could be Mrs. Bill Gates and I'd be like, No. Way.  I don't wanna get in trouble at work!

Happy Shopping!!  But not for those!  Yuck.

2010 Fall Is Already Here

Well, it is if you are an importer and have to decide on the styles of coats, jackets and shawls that you are bringing in for the winter season.

I am seeing some great coats, a lot with faux fur collars.  Last year, designers were big on using fur (real and faux) and so it is not surprising to see it filter down to the "regular" consumer level.

I live in Canada and so I'd like to think of myself as a professional on a good winter coat.  I love big warm collars because 90% of the time the big thing that is causing you major winter grief is wind.

These coats above are not labeled with designers' names.  They are standard coats that go into 80% of the retail stores that are in North America (and obviously where winters are big).

I have tons, TONS of coats to go through over the next couple of weeks and place my orders based on what buyers (the stores) want.  I am thinking of starting up an alternate site where I will feature just coats for now and then move onto blouses, dresses and shirts.  I am still thinking of a reasonable way to do returns and exchanges.   Give me a day or two and I'm sure I will figure out the cost to price ratios that will allow the return process run more smoothly.

The coats above would retail about $300 to $400USD in the large retail stores and also the smaller boutiques.  There is enough of a mark up in that price so that when you see the 50% off signs at the end of the season, the retailers are still making money on the coat.  So instead of having all that mark up, winter sale and eventually clearance, I'm just going to mark the coats at the price that they are worth - about $100 to $150USD.

Happy Shopping!!

Who's With Me?

Okay, who's with me?

Is this not the ugliest bag you have ever seen?

Wow.

It's like a Monogram Speedy 30 meets Marc Jacobs Kalahari collection.

Ye Gads.

You know what this is?  A waste of leather.  Seriously.  Hey, if you like this bag, that's totally fine.  I just can't believe that they would take three really good bags and make them into one SUPER ugly one (to me!).

Happy Shopping??!!??  I'm afraid to say with my usual gusto...

3.1 Phillip Lim

So what's that state called where you're like beyond boredom.  Like exhaustively bored.  Oh, never mind, just think of me and you'll get the idea.

I am really bed resting today.  Yesterday my big trip was to the doctor's office and then to the hospital for some tests and then home.  Today, it's just home.  MY. GOD. I'M. BORED.  For all those that have asked, baby is healthy...for now.  *Fingers, toes and anything else crossed*

Moving right along, there's a new designer to the replica world.  He has ONE handbag (he should meet Nicholas G from Balenciaga - seriously!) that is creating quite some rage - The Edie:

I don't know.  Well, I do know.  It's DEFINITELY not me but we're not like other blogs here where we make fun of you if you do like this bag.  That's okay.

I personally find the bag very, very cute however I have no need for a purse.  I used to do purses in my early 20's.  Then I became a career woman and since then I've always needed a larger handbag.  Then I became a mom and needed the larger purse and a large SUV or Mini Van!

So like I said before, this is a new designer to the replica world and so right now only the Edie is being replicated.  I'm sure his other stuff will get produced very soon.  3.1 Phillip Lim Clothing is awesome too.  I am hoping, during this downtime, TO FINALLY GET THAT CLOTHING SITE UP AND RUNNING.  I mean I might as well.

After all, what else am I gonna do?

Happy Shopping!!

New Gucci

The single most popular question I get on a regular basis is, "What is your best replica". And I always answer the same, "While LV and Chanel are the most popular bags and therefore get perfected through many, many replications, the biggest bang for your buck, BY FAR, is with Gucci".

Then the person orders a Chanel bag and goes along their merry way. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. But I will tell you why you get the most bang for your buck with Gucci replica handbags:

  1. The leather used on the replicas is SUPERB quality.  And because real Gucci bags use a lot of leather, the replicas do too.  You are getting a lot for your money when you invest in a Gucci handbag;
  2. Gucci replica bags are built to last.  I have never had one, NOT ONE, person write me back with a complaint that something broke, something came apart or something fell off.  NOT ONE;
  3. The classic good style of Gucci goes with everything.  You can be 22 and in a night club or you can be, well, me 38, pregnant, and planted daily in a boardroom (not this week though - have I complained enough about this yet?);
  4. Gucci bags are the work horses of the handbag world.  Yes, they are the Rottweilers or the Dobermans of the handbag world, in both real and replica worlds.  They are tough, built to last again, and can take whatever you put in them.  Of the few real Prada bags that I have purchased, I tried to overfill them and in my heart, I always had the feeling that the bag was going to snap (they usually did - and yes, those bags were REAL Pradas);
  5. Gucci has a presence that I find is impenetrable.  It's so strong that it's if I'm carrying a Gucci bag I feel like the world knows what it is.  I don't get that feeling when I carry my Hermes, Balenciaga, Chloe or Mulberry bags.  In fact, most of those brands, with the exception of Balenciaga and Chloe, get blank stares.
I am not even joking when I say that if you are tight on funds, but need one good bag to last you a few years, then invest in a good Gucci replica from the site.  I promise that you will not be disappointed.  Again, the numbers do speak for themselves.  I have not had a single one returned, not a single one break, no complaints.  I can't boast those kind of results even for my popular LV and Chanel brands.  That is how awesome Gucci is.

And without further ado, here is the new Techno Large handbag in awesome BLUE!

Yes, I'm in love and normally I'd be like, but it's blue!  I can't wear blue to the office.  Oh Yes, I Can!  I think that shade would go with anything and would add that much needed colour in my wardrobe.  The grey and blue pin stripe suits could use this kind of sprucing up!

And the picture that makes or breaks a bag:

The relative size one.  What does it look like when being carried?  I base 99% of my I gotta get that bag or not decision on that last picture.  That tells me SO MUCH more than W33cm x H30cm x D15cm.

The new Gucci Techno Large handbag is $270USD and that includes shipping to most areas!
