Alas!

The website is back up and running.  Of course it's my life and so there is one minor glitch.

There are items that read "Coming Soon".  These items are actually in stock and are for sale.  It's a shopping cart glitch.  The items that read, "Sold Out" are actually sold out and will be in stock shortly.

The shopping cart is now more powerful and much more versatile.  It takes Visa, Mastercard and Amex right in the system and processes it real time!

I'm so glad that this time around I took the time off to learn about this stuff and get it right.   I also took time off to care for my family and to get my household back up and running.  It was nice to reply to questions here and there and not have to worry about any new orders.  Phew!

Having said that, let's do it!

Here is a well deserved long over due BAG OF THE DAY!

I had a reader inquire about it today and I was like, wow, this is nice!  Why didn't I make this bag of the day sooner?

The DIOR Lady!  Quilted cannage leather, lots of uber cute bling (removable if you're not feeling it), and a beautiful classic look!  This bag is meant for showing off and not for heavy work.  It is not made to truck my daily load of laptop, kids' toys, clothes, runners, etc.  This bag is far too elegant for that.  It is just meant to let the world know you have style!

This bag should be part of a bag buy!

Speaking of which, I have introduced 2 bags at a VERY discounted rate due to the inconvenience of the website being down.  One of course is the winner of the bag buy, GUCCI Queen Bag and I also managed to get a great rate on the Chloe Paddington!

Both bags retail for about $260 on my site but I think we can probably get them both for about $160-$170USD.  It depends on shipping and where you live.  Yes, the prices listed about INCLUDE SHIPPING!

I will have more details for you shortly, like as in tomorrow.

I am exhausted.  Took the kids out trick or treating and with costumes, long johns (it's pretty cold here), kids having to go pee right after you get them dressed, I'm tired.

Thank God Hallowe'en is once a year!  It was great fun though.  I can't really complain.

Hope you all had fun and safe weekend!

Happy Shopping...now let's get back to business!

Something New, Something Blue, Something Old, Something Borrowed

I was talking to one of my customers today and we had a great chat.  I have been talking to many of you.  Yes, the website is still down and so talk is all we have!

My good customer asked me about the website.  Yes, I am working on it.  I just had a crazy October with super sick kids, sick hubby and sick me.  Then like God said, take that woman!, my shopping cart failed me.  I deliberately took the site down to let the kids get better, get the household back up and running and review good shopping carts.  I love a good challenge in life but testing myself where my service level would have to fall is not challenging, it's just plain stupid.

I am holding off on new orders until all is good with the site.  Knock on wood the family is all better!

So I was telling my customer this morning that this handbag and shoe thing is PURELY a guilty pleasure.  I didn't wake up one day and say, hmm, I'm gonna sell replica handbags and shoes and then call it a lifetime. No, I don't operate like that.  My main intent was always to bring in everyday, not designer, clothes and fashions at affordable prices.  I wanted to have a website for people like me.  Busy moms who love to shop but simply cannot go shopping everyday or rather take two rascal-y boys shopping who want nothing to do but chase each other and possibly embarrass their mother.

I also wanted one stop shopping.  Retail will never go out of style and even me who endorses online shopping to the max loves to go and unwind at a department store and feel and touch their new stuff.  It's a human requirement.  It also gives me personal time to me, me, ME!

Last year, one of my uber successful girlfriends (a super busy criminal lawyer) was getting married.  She was super stressed about her wedding to a very prominent man who was not only a lawyer but came from a very wealthy family.  My friend on the other hand had grown up very poor and had basically made herself what she is today.

Needless to say my friend wanted a simple wedding and her fiance wanted to put the Royal Family to shame.  While she knew she was going to be battled on everything regarding the wedding, including the food, the flowers, the hall, (yes, she has one of those kinds of mother-in-laws!), she thought she'd take ownership of her dress.

She came to me.  You guys don't know this but not only am I "in" with the handbag people, I'm really "in" with the wedding dress people.  And that is why I kinda laugh when people ask me if I know good quality.  Umm, yeah, I'm kinda in the know with quality. Me and quality are tight.

My friend, the lawyer, wanted a dress that would impress everyone at her wedding (who doesn't?) but something that would not cost a fortune.  No, she's not really cheap but she wanted to keep true to her upbringing which was always modest.  Also she's a shrewd business woman and to her a one time wear for a dress is not worth $5,000.00.  That's her.  That's me too.  Sure I want to look and feel good but not at the cost of my kids' education or my next mortgage payment.  I totally understood where she was coming from.

I got my friend to get her measurements taken by a professional seamstress.  Costs about $25.00.  Then I got in touch with my friends overseas, got some pictures.  I showed them to my friend, who was appalled at the vast number of styles and fabrics and colours available to her.  While at any good wedding bridal store you will see about 40 kinds of dresses, she now had access to thousands of dresses.

She actually went very non traditional (her mother in law I'm sure had a heart attack) and went with a very faint pink-ish dress.   She looked like Cinderella at the ball. When she walked down the aisle and people saw her for the first time, there was actually an audible gasp.  Her dress was stunning.  Of course I sat there all smug like thinking, yeah, I got that!

It was her moment and she loved it.  You wanna know what she loved most?  The cost.  She told everyone that asked about her dress that I had gotten it for her and that it had cost about $500.00.  People didn't believe her and thought she had had too much champagne.

This picture is a of her dress (not her).  There is a lot of beading and a lot of detail.  It's made from organza, taffeta, lace and silk.

There is a point to all this rambling.  When I started up the online business, it was never to solely sell handbags.  That truly is a personal guilty pleasure and I do that more for me than anyone else.  I'm selfish that way.

My intent was always to start up a clothing distribution company that sells both wholesale and retail.  And of course, wedding dresses.  Because like handbags, they too are precious.  The perfect one speaks volumes and the memories from that day, pictures, people, food, the groom, it all adds up and makes for the most wonderful stories when you're old and grey.

Another customer of mine nearly fainted when I told her this.  She said, "what, you're not gonna sell handbags anymore?".  I'm not sure she heard one other word that I had spoken!

Yes, of course I am!  And with that, the Gucci Queen Bag won the race.  By a long shot.  Who'da thunk that Gucci would beat LV?

Anyway, remember this bag?  It's gonna be my peace offering gift to you all for waiting so long for the website to come back up.  When the site is back up, AND IF EVERYTHING GOES ACCORDING TO PLAN, that should be by Monday the latest, this bag will go on sale from its regular price of $256.00 down to a piddly $175.00.  I'd start the sale today but alas I can't.  I don't have a shopping cart!  The sale will start some time next week.  Most likely Monday.

Please read this:  I only have about 25 bags that I can get at that low, low price.  If you want one, write me and I will hold one for you, if need be.  I don't want the same disappointment that some of you had to endure with the Marc Jacobs' bags.  They went fast and some of you were very, very upset that you missed out.  I'm sorry!

Let me know if you want me to hold one of the Gucci Queen bags for you.

Okay, everyone, one more day and it's the weekend!

Happy shopping...anywhere but my site that is!

Light At the End of The Tunnel!

This website thing might be rectified in a couple of days.  I'm sorry but I'm spending 100% of my time, outside from being a mom, wife, housekeeper, professional chauffeur, etc., on the website.  I am utterly shocked at how much we are at the mercy of Visa and Mastercard processors!

If you are thinking of starting a business, contact me.  I am not a wealth of information on e-commerce!

Never thought I'd say that in this lifetime.

Thanks for everyone's support and ongoing patience!

Up and Running...

By Wednesday.  Ugh.  I will be offline until then catching up on manual orders.  If you need me, you know where to get me.  I am here, just trying to move 700 pages of webdesign to a new provider.  One that has a shopping cart that actually works.

Finding a host, shopping cart, website provider, etc. is not as easy as it sounds.  I certainly don't want to spend a lot of money on a hobby-ish type frivolity, i.e. my love for shoes and handbags!  Once I have evaluated some new providers, I can have the website up and running.

Also a lot of you told me that you did not like using PayPal.  I am trying to get rid of them and just take Visa and Mastercard directly.  Again, these words sound simple and you would think that they would be since Visa and Mastercard and this thing called the internet have been around for awhile now, but it's all so convoluted and complicated.

Back ends and real time this and that.  Ugh.  Stuff that I can't stand.  I want a handbag of the day, not HTML code for an external shopping cart which processes cards in real time.

Wha?

Bear with me and then Happy Shopping!

Always Do Your Homework...

This is a head's up to anyone thinking of getting a website. If you plan on doing any kind of ecommerce, do your homework on shopping carts. I ignorantly thought they were all the same and mine is an absolute nightmare.  So say you were on my site and you wanted to buy more than one bag.  Pretty normal scenario.  My crappy shopping cart only allows you to buy one.  So say you add a second bag.  Guess what happens?  It brings in all the orders that have ever been placed on my site.  So now you have 260 bags in your shopping cart!  Ask me if that makes customers warm and fuzzy!

Thank God one of my best friend is a programmer and he was able to help me a bit.  The site is a MESS as we try to clean it up.  Please bear with me.

Ugh.  I go from record sales to no sales due to a broken shopping cart.  I swear God tries to keep me humble.

Happy Shopping...in a couple of days!

Huge Problems with Shopping Cart

I am having the biggest problems known to mankind with the shopping cart.  I have no idea what has gone wrong but nothing is working.  Of course on a Saturday when help is limited.

I am here if you need me, looks like we might go back to our manual days if this keeps up.   I have taken down the site while I have tech support working on the issue.

Thanks for your patience.

Happy Shopping...not!

Your Party Shoes

A lot of you have written me about the shoes.  I know they're high.  4 7/8"!!  Yes, I will be getting more reasonable heels very soon.

These ones are in but not on the site yet.  They're only 3 3/4"!  That is actually very doable if you're a heel wearer.  We are already starting to get the head's up on some XMAS parties.   Now isn't this the shoe to wear!  Yes, yes, it is.  The Christian Louboutin Discoteka.

Some of you have asked if what sizes I carry.  I have them all from size US5 to US 10.  I can get US11 but that would be a special order size. Just contact me and I'll be glad to help!

I'm ready for party season.  After spending October in bed with the flu or nursing others with the flu, trust me I'm ready to go out and have a good time.

Knowing me I'd get sick again!

Happy Shopping!

Gucci Again...

I don't know about you guys but I'd feel like a complete yim yam, a loser, somebody who was trying WAY TOO HARD to get noticed wearing these.

I mean they're nice boots (shape, size, heel), but the medallion, the interlocking GG, the fur, the fabric, the wannabe steel toe. I'm not sure.

I'd be standing there, balancing on one foot while the trying to hide my other foot behind my leg or something.

Is it just me?  I can't even keep a straight face as I type this.  Also, I married the most sarcastic SOB on the planet and he'd start the teasing as soon as I took these out of the box!

I'd be forced to return them just to shut him up!
Maybe I can carry these with my matching Gucci bag?

Oh and just in case you wanted them in black, Gucci understands...

Keep Shopping...pass!

Holy Crow People...

What a day! Record sales for my one month old company!

Love it. I'm glad people are telling friends and friends of friends.  This is all good.  One lady wrote me and said that she could not believe her friend got a replica that was so inexpensive!  Now I'm all flattered and stuff but I wouldn't say my stuff is inexpensive!  It is however very competitive.  There are sites selling these kinds of replicas for $500 plus dollars.

Something in me would just save another $500 and go buy some kind of original.  Okay, maybe something in me would save $500.00 4 times over and go buy an original.

I do have to let you guys know that the factory advised me prices will be going up at the end of November on some items.  Please get stuff now to avoid a $20-$25 price hike.  That's not pretty.

Alright folks, let's do a bag of the day!

It's called the Chloe Double Bowler set.

You get a purse matching and a weekend bag (my regular day to day bag)!  It was offered for a limited time.  It has the signature padlock and comes in many colours.  Right now I have it in the two tone red/black and all black versions.

You can see this one in the picture here.

Two top notch designer replica bags for $275.00USD including delivery!

Yeah, that's not so bad.

Have a great weekend everyone. I will write later today with a weekend bag and some hot weekend shoes!  Like the kind of shoes that I'd fall down on my keester if not careful!
Happy Shopping

What's Next?

Someone just asked me what's next?  After shoes that is.  Well, it will actually be before shoes but it's JEWELRY!

Geez, I hope I can keep up with this!

I love costume jewelry.  When I was about 25 or so I was held up, at knife point no less, and all the thug wanted were my rings and matching earrings.  I learned at that age that having expensive jewelry and everyday tasks, LIKE WALKING ON THE ROAD, don't mix.   Since then I've had kids and only after an expensive watch was flushed down the toilet - for giggles - did I realize expensive jewelry and kids don't mix either.

I keep the expensive stuff for VERY SPECIAL OCCASIONS which kinda makes it obsolete.  I mean how many weddings, communions or XMAS parties do we really go to where we can be decked out like Liberace?

I love wearing the everyday stuff.  It makes or completes an outfit.  And if you're like me and lose earrings at the drop of a hat, then spending $30.00 on earrings doesn't hurt like spending $3000.00!

This costume jewelry, however, is not cheap.  It's real 0.925 silver or real gold, made to replicate the original designer pieces.

Wait before you run, the prices are not that bad.  The Gucci earrings you see above are about $47.00USD (shipping not included)!  All made with great care and with great materials.

I'll be lauching jewellry once the entire family is in the clear.  Sorry but kids and hubby first.

Happy Shopping!

Special Introductory Offer

So I think I have been in the dumps long enough.  I have been so sick for the past few days and my kids have been so sick that I was actually contemplating giving this business up.  It was a fleeting thought and I'm so glad I didn't.

There is always a rainbow after any storm.

And here is that rainbow:

SHOES!

I know I'm in Canada and so the last thing on my mind right now is high heels (furry winter boots or galoshes are more like it!!), but who can resist these?

I am starting out with offering two styles at very special prices.  Look around at other sites and you will see that these are a great deal.

If you've bought one of my bags, then you know I'm picky.  I have found the equivalent factory for shoes!  I'm so excited!!  I went through samples and samples of shoes that I had to pay for to find this gem.  Trust me you're gonna be glad I did.  Every female member of my family however is getting a not so good replica of Loubies!

These are absolutely the best Louboutin replicas on the market.  I say that with tremendous confidence.  For a short period of time, I am offering 30% off the regular price.

Simple Black Pump

Or the opened toe, red toe pump:

Every box comes with:
  1. Christian Louboutin Shoes;
  2. The actual shoe box!;
  3. One pair of Christian Louboutin hobnails (replacement heel protectors)
  4. Two Christian Louboutin dust bags...one for each shoe!!
PRICE:  $225.00USD each (shipping right now is only $10.00USD to anywhere in the world!)!

Pretty sweet.  By November 1, 2009 the price of the shoe will increase and the shipping cost will go up to $15.00.  Like the Marc Jacobs special don't get left behind.

So here's the scoop, I will have hundreds, if not thousands of shoes including, Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik, Gucci, Dior, Chanel, LV, Prada, etc, on the website but in case you haven't noticed, I'M BUSY!  I still haven't fully updated handbags!  I won't be adding more shoes until late 2009...after XMAS.  If you're absolutely dying for a pair for XMAS, write me and I'll see what I can do.  Please read my notes below though.

N.B.  I am gonna have to change the law a bit.  I'm sorry but I can no longer send out or take any more "personal" pictures of product other than what is showing here or on the website.   I did spend too much time taking EXTRA handbag pictures for people who had no intention of buying.  Ultimately, this is a business.  A very good business for me and time is money.  You're a big girl.  You can decide from these  pictures if you want these shoes or not.  And it's perfectly okay if not.  You're not hurting my feelings.  Instead of basing your entire opinion on pictures, I suggest you read reviews on my service and my products.  I have some great customers posting reviews on http://www.ittakesafake.blogspot.com/.  When customers want to leave reviews on their own accord, I get them to leave them all in one centralized place and that is the hub!

Still Alive...

Everyone is still alive.  My household is still a wreck.  My kids are getting better.  I will be back on line tomorrow.  Just in time for the weekend!

I apologize and thank you all for your well wishes.

Week From Hell!

Just hell.  I will start writing again but I have just had a week from hell.  My son has been in and out of hospital this week non stop with a fever hovering around 104 degrees.  Yikes.

My entire family is sick and I have a chest infection.  Nice.  My life so far...two thumbs up!

Then the factory messes up.  Yes, I guess they are human and are allowed to make mistakes but they messed up on an order that really should not have been messed up.  Ugh.

Then due to Chinese holidays, some of my packages were delivered at the 11th hour on the 10th day of delivery.  And I have people getting upset about that too.  Sorry, folks the website says some packages can take up to 10 days to deliver.  That means that SOME PACKAGES MIGHT TAKE A FULL TEN DAYS TO GET TO YOU!  Folks, I don't want to be the bearer of bad news but if your country's customs decides to pull a package for inspection, there is nothing I can or the factory can do about it.  It's just protocol.  And given the times we live in, I'm glad they are checking packages.  And you should be too!

Okay, breathing now.  Deep breath in.  Deep breath out.

What a week!  Everything that could go wrong, has gone wrong.  Please end horrible week.  Please go away horrible week!

One of my fantastic readers sent me this great link on how onions are the cure for the flu.  You bet your bottom dollar I'm buying 3 kilos of onions today.

Marc Jacobs bags are now sold out.  I only had a small quantity of each.  Sorry if you missed out.  And Congrats to those who took advantage.

Will write soon with handbag of the day!

Thanks!

Shutting Down For A Few Days

Sorry guys but I'm shutting the blog down for a couple of days.  With my family not well and me probably going through a second bout of the same strain as the kids, I need to get some rest.  The blog goes first.

No, I'm not fleeing the country.  I am still taking and filling orders.  Once all orders are filled, and if things don't improve at the homefront, I'll shut the site down for a few days for taking orders.

Thanks for your understanding, everyone.  And many thanks for your well wishes!

Happy Shopping...for now!

Would You...

...buy these shoes?  I love the look of them but I'm telling you right now, I have absolutely nothing to wear them to.  My dress up and party days are long gone!

I'm trying to get feedback on shoes and styles.  So far every woman I know (me included) has said, Yes! I'd buy those babies!  Until practicality sinks in for me.  Where would I wear them?  I'm racking my brain for an answer but I have nothing.

Maybe you can help me.

It's reasons like this -------------->  that I love shoes!

Marc Jacobs Bruna Handbag - SALE!!!

My entire family is sick and so I don't have a lot of time to write this post.  I did get some good news today.

I know we have a Handbag Buy in the works however, I just got some good news from my factory.   And from all my readers.

Since I put up the Marc Jacobs bags, everyone has been asking me for them!  So I contacted the factory and I have fantastic news.

Both the Bruna and the Casey North South handbags are coming down in price from the regular $245.00USD to $199USD!!

More good news is that I now have them in 4 colours!  Black, Off White / Cream, Dark Brown and Tan / Light Brown

These are the exact same bags that I'd normally be selling for $245USD.

I also have the Casey North South handbag on sale for the same price, however, I do not have the pics handy to upload right now.

Ask me any questions, however I may not be able to reply for a few hours.

I will upload the Casey pics when I get a chance!

Happy Shopping...God, I love sales!

My Entire Family...

...is sick.  My sons have been back and forth to the emergency.  My husband is sick.  And yes, I still have that nagging cough and chest infection.

My responses to email will be slow for today.  Please bear wtih me.

Big Big Big Big Big Things to Come...Possibly

So everyone who has written me for a Chloe Paddington handbag, hold off on buying one for now.  Treat yourself to it next year.  I think, and if I can wing this right, we can get these high quality handbags for a lot less!  Like instead of paying $252 for this bag as is on the website, we might be able to get it for about $150USD per bag.  Just let me see if I can work some magic here.  I want to be sure the quality is the same and the bags are of the same calibre.  I have been told they are but you know me, I need more than just being told so.

It's an awesome bag and comes in a million colours.  Trust me you want to wait for this.

Happy Shopping...for discounts!

Handbag buy!

So those of you in the know do know that we're trying to have a handbag buy!

The bags in the running were the following:

  1. LV Mahina
  2. Chanel Patent Leather Tote
  3. Prada Tote
  4. Gucci Queen Bag
  5. LV Beverley.
The winner so far (and I mean with a serious lead) is the Gucci Queen.  Second place is the Chanel Patent Tote.   My poor Prada is dead last!

If we get enough people to buy (minimum 20 people), the regularly priced Queen Bag, then instead of paying the $256.00USD on the site, the factory will each give us the bag for about $185.00USD.  I have to say "about" because this can be better if more than 20 people buy and it can be less if not quite 20 make it.  I will only take the buy seriously if at least 16 people sign up.

So write me and let me know if you want either a Gucci Queen handbag in red or in black at this fantastic deal.

Holy Cold Batman!

You know everywhere you read up on environmental issues, they are telling us the Earth is getting warmer and that we're all gonna be expert swimmers in 100 years when the polar ice caps melt.  Well, I have one question:  Is Canada gonna get warmer too?  We just had a RECORD cold summer.  Many would say that we didn't even have a summer this year.  Now it's supposed to be Fall and and early Fall at that, people, and it's already below zero degrees Celsius.  I usually don't turn on my furnace until mid October.  This year I had it on by end of September.

So riddle me this:  how come the rest of the world is warming up and we Canadians are still so damn cold?

Brrr.  Time to warm up with wonderful thoughts of a new handbag!  I got a request for these bags last week and while I have already highlighted one of them, I have to tell you that these are to die for.  Like literally to die for.

Marc Jacobs.  His bags are not THAT ridiculously expensive (said in partial jest) in real life.  You can get an ugly Marc Jacobs original for about $800.00USD.

This is the Stam.  Very chic.  Very cute.  Like a very large change purse.

This is the Bruna.  It's a very perfect little bag.  The kind that lets you carry just about everything you need, but does not let you get overboard with all the stuff that you shouldn't be carrying around.  It's like a self limiting system!  Man, I need one of those big time.

Lastly, here is the Casey North West.  The one I like for obvious reasons.

Great bag.  I have these lovely cream ones in stock and they all come in black too.

Here are some pics of the detailing on the black Stam.  My favourite part and your best indication if it's a good replica.  The hardware needs to be right on.  Otherwise it's a cheap replica and you should not be paying top dollar for it.

A picture can only tell you so much.  I know it says a thousand words, but in my world, a thousand words is not enough.  All you can gather from these pics is that the ruffles of the bag are neat and the replica looks well made.  Moreover, the clasp closes nicely (although this can be photoshopped so remember that a picture is not honest always), and that like the original one button clasp has Marc's name on it.

This is the kind of detail you're looking for when you decide if you're gonna buy a replica and pay the money the people are asking.

While the jewellery in the picture looks awesome (I get all starry eyed when I see it personally), this is the not the detail that you're looking for.  It's good that like the original, they have the Marc Jacobs imprinted on the hardware.  That is good.  But look away from that.  Look at the leather.  The original is supposed to be this caviar or togo leather.  The kind with the bumps.  And it is.

The original has double stitching, two needles, stiching and making the pattern on the bag, and that is here in the replica.

Don't get fooled by easy to copy stuff.  It is secondary to spotting a good replica.  Yes, it needs to be there but don't base your decision to buy a replica on the fac that you saw a the Marc Jacobs insignia on the inside and therefore it must be a good replica.  No, these little things are easy to make and reproduce and any replica, good or bad, will have these little eye catching details, and  are not a sign of a good replica.

But, having said that, look at that leather, look at the stitching.  It's nice and straight.  Nothing repeated or double stitched (stitched over) to fix errors.  Those are things you're looking for in this kind of picture.

Always feel free to contact me if you want to know if you have found a good replica.  While I cannot condone or condemn other sites, I can tell you what to look for.  And really that is all you can do when you buy online.

Happy Shopping...Long live Marc Jacobs!

Yes!

I think Mr. Vuitton is trying to make me eat my words.

Imma liking this baby!!  When this Vernis line came out, I was tepid like (my usual response to LV) however, this is nice!

I could totally do this.  This is me!

It's proabably too late to do in a Canadian winter howevwer next summer is looking fun and playful.

This ultra cute little bag comes in like the most fun colours!

Aside from smoking red, it also comes in this peacock blue colour.

A perfect summer green.

And a hot pink,

and a very nice orange.

There are a bunch of other really nice bags in this Vernis line.  The Sunset Boulevard  and the Rodeo Drive.  I'll post those pics in a bit.

I will write more later today but if you don't check back, have a wonderful weekend!

Happy Shopping!

XMAS Rush

Folks,

It's super duper busy here at Just Like The Real Thing!

And it's true what they say that the mail at XMAS time is super slow.  This applies to handbag sales as well.  I have to let you know, because I have had a quite a few people ask, that the handbags will be slower in the next month or so due to volume.  If you're wanting to get a friend a gift from me, please order it sooner than later.  I know that's harder to do in these economic times.  Trust.

If you're wanting a gift for XMAS and you want your friend to get it by December 20, 2009, please place all orders by November 25, 2009.  This is the only way I can promise you that your friend will be enjoying her gift on XMAS day.

When you guys place an order over the next few weeks, I will remind you at that time that your order is good to go for XMAS.  I will post again in a few weeks when that November 25, 2009 deadline approaches.

Most Common Question

I get about 100 emails a day asking me about, well, handbags, handbag styles, handbags I've never heard of, handbags that I intend to have in stock and handbags that will impress friends and family.

By far, the single question I get asked most is people wanting to know what the difference is between a replica and the real deal.  And my answer always is, if the replica is done well, then really there should be no visible difference.  The difference can only be seen once the lining is removed or once a serial number is checked.  From there, my readers ask, so what is your best replica?

I have to explain in detail here that replication in itself is an art form.  It is done with care and an understanding of the original product.  Replication, good replication, is harder than one might think.  I always tell people that products that get replicated the most are the best replicas.  If you're like me you don't want to hear that that is

Louis Vuitton (of course, I've said it before but Suhali and Mahina have changed me),

 Gucci,

Chloe,

Or any easier to mimic design, like Jimmy Choo or Marc Jacobs.

Having said that, not every single handbag in a line is always good.  That is where I come in, I guess.  I have seen these bags, both replica and real (whether I own them or not), and I know a good replica.  I get great comments from very happy customers because I use that same know how and honesty to let people know that sure, the latest XYZ bag is hot, hot, hot but the replica is not so hot.  I could easily keep my mouth shut and make a sale but then I wouldn't be getting great comments.  If anything I'd be getting a lot of bad mouthing on the internet.

I don't know about you guys but when I purchase anything and I'm putting faith in someone else's know how, that honesty that I speak of is what I appreciate the most.  Even if I'm being told that XYZ handbag in a replica is just not there yet, or that, yes the hot pink looks good in the picture but my use of the handbag will be limited to the type of occasion, even that unsavory truth, as much as I don't want to hear it, is appreciated.  And it's appreciated because it is the truth.

Takes me back to the first time I was choosing replicas at the factory and being told that crocodile skin was probably not the best way to go!

She was right, you know. *Looking down and lowering my voice.*

More Lovely Music...

I got another happy customer who writes:
I got your package :-) didn´t even have to pick it up at the post office...they left it in our mailbox...and no import taxes or anything :-)
THANKS SO MUCH!
I love it!!! I think it´s great and to be honest I could never tell a difference to the original...I´ve also just checked out the original on the LV website ;-) but can´t see a difference...looks exactly the same...
Anyway...I LOVE IT! :-)
Sometimes this business is so rewarding :)  What more can a person ask for?  I like that she was skeptical like a lot of smart people, took a chance and got exactly what she wanted!

I know it's very hard to trust someone on the internet but if you have any hesitation, write me and let's chat.  Maybe I can help you find the bag you've always wanted!

I'm always here to answer questions.

Sparse Writings

I have to apologise for not writing more.  I feel like a turd but it's the truth, I really do feel like a turd.  This cold/flu thing I had going on was one thing but it's left me with a horrendous hacking cough that just won't go away.  The kind that keeps you up at night.  And as a mom of young kids, I was already sleep deprived enough.

Having said that, let's move along to an awesome bag of the day.

It's the Jimmy Choo Monna bag.  Another bag that I can load up with everything under the sun.

Usually brands like Jimmy Choo are not well replicated.  There is a simple reason for this.  They are not as popular as you and I may think. Most people, my husband included, have never heard of Jimmy Choo.  For that reason, these kinds of products are not given the quantity runs at a factory that say Chanel, LV or Balenciaga handbag are, and conversely, these products don't get perfected at the same rate as again LV and Chanel products do.

Now, my factory does do Jimmy Choo very well.  Pretty close to perfect and some Jimmy Choo products are comparable to LV and Chanel replication.  I know.  I know.  Your're thinking I'm just saying that because it's my factory and because I sell these bags.

No, actually that's not my motive.  I do sell these bags and so I have to either go buy the original or make friends with people who have originals and actually check the quality of the bags I sell.  Failing that, I have to go to Macy's, Barney's, Nieman Marcus, etc., or whatever store that may carry the brand and compare my replica handbag to the original.  Since I am a handbag hog, I usually end up buying the original bag to do the comparisons (Note to hubby:  I usually sell the now second hand bag to a friend - I swear!).

All in all, I have to, check the bags out in order to be able to sell them.  I check them out when I go see the factory in Asia.  I see what runs they're going to do and what products they're excited about.  The I ensure that the factory is actually doing what they state they are doing.  I live on the other side of the world from the factory and so my only means of ensuring they are keeping their end of the quality control bargain up is to check their products.

I know some people would do things differently but we're all wired with a different sense of good value and honesty.  I'm not good with telling people that they are going to get a GREAT product if I don't personally know that.

I do however personally know that this Jimmy Choo Monna is an excellent sexy sleek bag.  It comes in both Black and Brown.  I'm a sucker for brown and so I think that bag is even nicer than the Black!

I don't know how Jimmy Choo does it but he's got phenomenal insight into what makes women look good.  Shoes, handbags...in my books the guy is a genius.

Welcome Back

I had a great Thanksgiving.  I know this sounds confusing to our international readers, but our American neighbours celebrate Thanksgiving in late November.  I have no idea why but I think that giving "thanks" is the most important part.  I have a lot to be thankful for.

A couple of days off being one right off the bat.  Ahhh, I feel so much better but I came back to about 30 orders.  Can't wait to get going on those!

Some of you who ordered last week are gonna experience a slight delay.  Sorry, not due to my Thanksgiving Holiday but it was a national 2 day holiday in China.  My factory was closed and all shipping was brought to a halt until late Friday.

I will be in touch with you about possibly needing the full 10 days for your delivery.  Sorry guys, holidays happen!

Having said that, let's move onto the bag of the day.  You know I originally thought this wasn't even a real design.  I thought it was made up in the Asian factories and proliferated from there.  Turns out I was wrong...again.  It's a great little bag for when you're going to a wedding or just out with the girls to dance and don't want your LV Mahina flopping around.

It's the smallest bag in the Classic Flap series.  I have it in the gold and the silver varieties.  I believe and please don't quote me on this (since up until now I thought this bag existed in fairy tales), it only has a black interior.  Unlike it's bigger 2.55 Classic Flap (what a nightmare of a bag for me - maybe Chanel is not my forte?), which comes in Gold and Silver toned hardware with either a Red or Black interior.

Glad to be back, folks.

Dolce & Gabbana

So I finally did get my shipment of Dolce & Gabbana bags.  There is some very nice stuff here. I'm all about the bigger, more versatile bags and this drawstring tote with fur is great!

This bag is so different from any thing else on my site.  It's not at as big as it looks and the opening at the top is not that large at all.

So if you were thinking, like I do, to slip your laptop in here, you'd have to play with it to get it in.  Yes, I carry my laptop in anything that will hold it.  I hate computer bags, they are so awkward when you are running for the train or even walking.  The back part of the bag is always hitting either me or someone else in a crowded area.

I prefer getting a bigger handbag which doubles as my purse and my laptop bag.

This rather unique Dolce & Gabbana bag comes in black too.

I love this bag.  It has a very luxurious feel to it.  I'm not sure how practical it is on a day to day basis but when you're stepping out and/or want to carry something that NO ONE else has, this is it.

Messed Up - Chanel Issues

So I did it again, I didn't review some pics on my site.  The Chanel part of my website from the beginning was giving me problems.  I was in a super duper rush to get it up and some pics were mixed up with not good replica pics.  Don't ask me how I manage to do this but all I can say was in my defense is that I was a) tired, b) getting sick and starting to feel worn down), c) getting sick of the Chanel store giving me so many problems with the taxes and shipping costs, d) all of the above and probably 8,000 other things!

So let me clarify, and even as I write this, I am worried I am gonna mess it up.  Chanel has this Classic Flap 2.55 handbag that we all love and want.

The problem with me is that I get very easily confused in due to all the variations it comes in and what my factory actually manufactures.  This time tested true handbag comes in 3 different sizes, Small, Medium and Large.  I'm not even 100% sure if the Small size is licensed Chanel and authentic because I never see the Small size in their stores or in their catalogues.  Regardless, I have seen a small 8" size bag online, on celebrities and on many other replica stores.

Here's where it gets confusing for me, because, well I'm slow that way.  The Large bag which measures almost 13" comes with either GOLD toned or SILVER toned hardware. That's simple enough.  Then it comes in either Gold toned or SILVER toned hardware with either a BLACK or RED interior!
Both LARGE and MEDIUM bags have a double flap, a small one inside for a separate compartment and a larger outer flap that closes the entire bag.

Now wanna know where it gets confusing for me?

My factory only makes the LARGE bag with either GOLD toned or SILVER toned hardware with a RED interior.  NO BLACK interior bags are made by the factory.

But in the MEDIUM sized bag, I have four variatinons of this bag!

1.  MEDIUM bag with GOLD toned hardware and RED interior;

2.  MEDIUM bag with SILVER toned hardware and RED interior;

3.  MEDIUM bag with GOLD toned hardware and BLACK interior;

4.  MEDIUM bag with SILVER toned hardware and BLACK interior.

Guess what a genius I am and guess what I did?  I took all the pics in one day and didn't bother to PLAN out the picture downloading process. I was so incredibly confused between large and medium bags that my head was spinning!  Some large pics were in the Medium handbag section and vice versa.  Oh, it was a mess.  And one of those messes where you know things are not right, but it's such a big fix that you try to put it off as long as humanly possible.

To make matters worse, and really I did not think that was gonna be possible here, the website company I use automatically shrinks the pics to some extent to make them fit neatly on the page.

I take very high resolution pics so that you can see the texture of the leather and the detaling of the hardware.

When I uploaded them onto the my website, the automatic shrinker ended up warping some of the pics and so the natural curve you would see or some of the features you're looking for on Chanel bags were definitely off.

I appreciate several shoppers point this out to me.  Thank you!

I have after all that fixed the Chanel store and added the last of the product that I will be carrying.  All the bags should have a uniformed look and look the exactly as the bag that I am selling and offering from the factory.

I have a lot more handbags to put up but I'm gonna make sure the ones that are up are "working" and looking like they should.

Many thanks for your patience everyone.  I'm sorry I was never supposed to be a website builder!

Happy Shopping.
