Prada does Hermes and well kinda succeeds

Prada has a bunch of new bags out.  No, not recently.  Like from before but I never got around to showcasing them all.  Thanks to that hellish April / May volcano disaster.

Prada has this bag that is SUPER popular.  I have sold many of these and I have sold some to my sister in laws and friends.  YES, I have seen them up close and personal.  It's a great bag.

The only con that I would have for a grub like myself is that the jeweled front piece would be broken and / or lost.  I'm not very good with ornamental pieces because I am usually running from one place to another.  That running usually makes me get caught on something and then *POP* bye bye jeweled piece!

This is a gorgeous bag.  Very sophisticated. Very classy.  Very dressy.  It's definitely an IT bag.  I have a sister in law using it everyday.  I'm not sure I could do that but I know that it definitely is usable everyday.    It would not seem weird to do so.

Now here's the Hermes reference.  This bag comes in a ton of colours as well.

I'm going through a green phase.  I am so digging that emerald green one above.  I love that this bag has a shoulder strap.

Here comes the usual PRADA disclaimer.  These bags are NOT made for wear and tear or to be work horses.  I have owned a lot of Prada bags.  I have broken almost all of them (real and replica alike).  It's most likely me but if you're like me, and are rough with your bags, expect that they take a beating, DO NOT BUY A PRADA replica.  You will cry.  I know I did.

It's very sad to see a gorgeous bag broken because you tried to get on the elevator at the last second and your handbag stayed behind.

Tugging, lugging and dragging is not for these bags (buy a Balenciaga, LV, Hermes, Chloe or a Gucci bag for that stuff - they can take anything).  Do NOT buy Prada or Miu Miu.  They are not made for that kind of treatment.

The Prada Jewel handbag is on the site for $260.00USD and that includes shipping and inspection service to Canada and the US.

Happy Shopping...dahling!
